Spanish has been part of Zoey's education since kindergarten, and Beyond Hola grew out of her love of helping younger students learn and grow.
¡Hola! I'm Zoey Brathwaite, a senior at North Atlanta High School and the founder of Beyond Hola.
I began learning Spanish in kindergarten at Tabula Rasa, a Spanish immersion elementary school in Sandy Springs, where I attended through fifth grade. I continued studying Spanish throughout middle and high school and have spent two consecutive summers studying abroad in Spain—in Seville in 2025 and Palma de Mallorca in 2026.
I have earned the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and am currently enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) at North Atlanta High School.
Spanish has also been part of my family's story. My younger sister followed a Spanish immersion and Dual Language Immersion path as well, and I understand that every student learns a language differently.

That is why I created Beyond Hola. My goal isn't just to help students memorize vocabulary for the next quiz. I want students to understand what they're learning, become more comfortable speaking Spanish, build confidence, and enjoy the language.

A comfortable space to ask questions, make mistakes, practice, and grow.
In-person tutoring is available in Buckhead and Atlanta's West Side. Parents or guardians can schedule a session by call, text, or email.
